Fed. Circ. Affirms Abbott Losses Over Test Strip Patents

Law360, New York (January 25, 2010, 6:12 PM ET) -- A federal appeals court on Monday handed Becton Dickinson & Co. and Nova Biomedical Corp. victories in patent cases Abbott Laboratories brought against them over blood glucose test strip and sensor patents, affirming judgments of invalidity and inequitable conduct.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirmed two separate rulings in favor of the medical technology sector defendants that were handed down in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
