Law360, New York (February 02, 2010, 2:44 PM ET) -- Having reached a licensing agreement with LG Electronics Inc., Tsera LLC has agreed to drop the Korean electronics manufacturer from its suit accusing a slew of companies of infringing a patent for touch pad technology.
In a stipulated motion for dismissal filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Tsera and LG indicated they had reached a settlement and patent license agreement on Thursday.
