Law360, New York (February 08, 2010, 7:27 PM ET) -- A federal judge has stymied a bid by the National Collegiate Athletic Association to dismiss a putative antitrust class action by former student-athletes who say they're being bilked out of money made from licensing their images.
Judge Claudia Wilken on Monday denied several motions to dismiss by the NCAA and co-defendant Collegiate Licensing Co., saying plaintiff Edward O'Bannon had put forward enough information to show that the case ought to proceed on nearly every claim.
