Novartis Wins Out In Patent Suit Over Hemophilia Drug

Law360, New York (February 25, 2010, 6:00 PM ET) -- Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics Inc. has prevailed in a patent dispute brought by Pfizer Inc. unit Genetics Institute LLC over the ownership of the formula for the hemophilia treatment ReFacto.

Judge Sue L. Robinson in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on Wednesday ruled that the two-way test was not satisfied with respect to the pairs of patent claims identified by GI as interfering claims.
