Law360, New York (March 04, 2010, 4:52 PM ET) -- IPhone game maker Backflip Studios Inc. has become the third defendant to settle in an infringement suit brought by Fowler Woods LLC over a patent for displaying electronic advertisements while audio is playing.
In a motion to dismiss filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Wednesday, Fowler Woods said it had “amicably” settled its claims against Backflip, about a month after the suit was filed.
Representatives for the companies did not immediately respond to a request for comment on details...
