Samsung, Toshiba Hit Over Energy-Saving Chip Patent

Law360, New York (March 16, 2010, 2:50 PM ET) -- Samsung Group and Toshiba Corp. are among the defendants in a new lawsuit accusing technology companies of infringing a patent for a system for conserving energy among electrical components.

Commonwealth Research Group LLC filed the suit Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware against Samsung, Toshiba, The Netherlands-based NXP BV and Japan-based Renesas Technology Corp.
