LSI Chip Patent Invalid Due To Prior Art: ITC

Law360, New York (March 23, 2010, 2:00 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has shut the door on an investigation of Spansion Inc. and others on claims of infringing a semiconductor patent held by LSI Corp. and Agere Systems Inc., ruling that the asserted patent is invalid in light of substantial prior art.

The ITC on Monday affirmed, reversed and modified in part the findings of an administrative law judge regarding U.S. Patent Number 5,227,335.
