Law360, New York (April 13, 2010, 3:55 PM ET) -- Apeldyn Corp. agreed Tuesday to dismiss Sony Corp. from a patent infringement suit against several electronics makers over technology used to improve image quality in liquid crystal display computer monitors and televisions.
Oregon-based Apeldyn and Sony filed a joint motion in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware to dismiss all claims between them without prejudice, though attorneys for the parties declined to confirm that a settlement had been reached.
