Law360, New York (April 29, 2010, 5:05 PM ET) -- Xinyi Automobile Glass Co. Ltd. has asked a federal judge to reconsider the nearly $24 million in damages the company was ordered to pay Saint-Gobain Autover USA Inc. in a patent infringement suit over windshield technology.
The defendant filed a motion Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, asking the judge to enter judgment of noninfringement as a matter of law, vacating or altering the $24 million damages award, or allowing a new trial on damages.
