Law360, New York (May 03, 2010, 3:40 PM ET) -- Minerva Industries Inc. has reached tentative settlement deals with Sanyo North America Corp., Hewlett-Packard Co. and Research In Motion Ltd. in a sweeping case Minerva brought against a slew of defendants over patents related to mobile media technology.
Magistrate Judge Charles Everingham IV of the U.S. District for the Eastern District of Texas signed off Friday on an order granting Minerva and Sanyo's joint motion for a stay, after the parties said they had reached an agreement in principle to settle the case.
