Law360, New York (May 04, 2010, 1:40 PM ET) -- Despite support from the U.S. International Trade Commission's investigative staff, an administrative law judge has refused to force Pioneer Corp. to provide more information about its patent licensing activities in Japan to Garmin Corp. in a dispute over three Pioneer patents for navigation technology.
In an order made public Monday, Administrative Law Judge Carl C. Charneski denied Garmin's motion to compel additional responses to several of its interrogatories and document requests dealing with Pioneer's licensing activities in Japan, as well as licenses issued to non-U.S. companies....
