Law360, New York (May 11, 2010, 1:47 PM ET) -- A U.S. International Trade Commission administrative law judge has nixed MVTec Software GmbH's bid to make an early exit from Cognex Corp.'s suit over two machine vision software patents.
Administrative Law Judge Carl C. Charneski on Monday rejected the German technology company's motion for a summary determination of noninfringement, noting that Cognex's criticism of MVTec's construction of the patents' claims was "well-taken."
