Law360, New York (May 13, 2010, 6:37 PM ET) -- JuxtaComm-Texas Software LLC has dropped claims against L'Occitane Inc. in an infringement suit targeting a diverse array of companies over a patent for manipulating and exchanging data between computer systems.
JuxtaComm and L'Occitane filed a joint motion for dismissal without prejudice Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Judge Leonard Davis granted the motion later the same day.
The motion did not give any reason for the dismissal, and attorneys for the parties could not immediately be reached for comment Thursday....
