Macy's, Others Added To USEI's Ethernet Patent Suit

Law360, New York (May 21, 2010, 4:20 PM ET) -- U.S. Ethernet Innovations LLC — the owner of Ethernet technology developed by 3Com Corp. — has added Macy's Inc., Harley-Davidson Motor Co., Target Corp. and six others to a suit alleging infringement of four patents.

An amended complaint filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas accuses 15 companies and various affiliates of willfully using or importing USEI's Ethernet technology covered by the patents-in-suit.
