Warner Bros. Strikes Deal In InMotion Video Patent Row

Law360, New York (June 07, 2010, 2:41 PM ET) -- Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group has become the first defendant to exit InMotion Imagery Technologies LLC's suit accusing nearly a dozen film production companies of infringing a video indexing patent.

Magistrate Judge Charles Everingham IV of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas dismissed Warner Bros. from the suit Thursday, citing a settlement and licensing deal that the parties reached in May.

Further details of the deal were not immediately available, and attorneys for the parties could not immediately be reached for comment.....
