Law360, New York (June 11, 2010, 1:10 PM ET) -- Television retailer HSN Inc. has become the latest defendant to resolve a patent infringement suit brought by DataTern Inc. against a wide range of companies over database technology used on websites.
The dismissal motion, lodged Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, provided no details about a potential settlement in the suit, though each side agreed to bear its own costs.
Attorneys for DataTern and for HSN did not immediately respond to requests for comment Friday.
