Amazon, Target Exit Online Data Security Patent Suit

Law360, New York (June 11, 2010, 5:07 PM ET) -- Retail giants Amazon.com Inc. and Target Corp. have resolved inventor Leon Stambler's suit accusing a plethora of companies across a broad range of industries of infringing two patents related to secure online transactions.

Judge David Folsom of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Friday approved a joint motion to dismiss with prejudice claims and counterclaims between Stambler and Amazon.
