BA Pulls 32 Airlines Into UK Air Cargo Cartel Case

Law360, New York (July 23, 2010, 11:47 AM ET) -- British Airways PLC has pulled 32 other airlines into a U.K. case seeking damages for the alleged air cargo cartel that has spawned a bevy of antitrust investigations and hundreds of millions of dollars in fines worldwide.

BA has launched legal proceedings against American Airlines Inc., Societe Air France, Deutsche Lufthansa AG and a slew of other major carriers in a bid to make sure it is not the only airline on the hook in a case brought by two flower importers in the High Court...
