ITC Finds Sidergas, ESAB Didn't Violate Section 337

Law360, New York (August 02, 2010, 2:33 PM ET) -- The administrative law judge overseeing a U.S. International Trade Commission investigation of Lincoln Electric Co.'s bulk welding wire equipment patent complaint has found that neither Sidergas SpA nor ESAB AB violated Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, which bars unfair importation.

Judge Robert K. Rogers Jr. initially determined that neither the Italy-based Sidergas nor the Sweden-based ESAB's products infringe any of the patented claims at the center of the Section 337 case, according to an ITC notice dated Friday.
