Sanofi, WC Heraeus Drop Patent Spat Over Eloxatin

Law360, New York (September 01, 2010, 6:06 PM ET) -- Sanofi-Aventis U.S. LLC has agreed to release German precious metals company W.C. Heraeus GmbH from a lawsuit accusing several generic-drug makers of infringing the patents for the colon cancer drug Eloxatin.

Judge Joel A. Pisano of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey issued an order Tuesday dismissing the claims without prejudice based on a stipulation of dismissal the parties submitted last week.
