Bayer Unit Sues Generics Maker Over Acne Treatment

Law360, New York (September 02, 2010, 1:40 PM ET) -- Bayer HealthCare AG unit Intendis Inc. has accused River's Edge Pharmaceuticals LLC of issuing false statements about a prescription acne medication and inaccurately passing it off as a generic version of the plaintiff's competing treatment.

Intendis lodged a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland on Wednesday, accusing River's Edge and its subsidiary Kylemore Pharmaceuticals LLC of deceptive advertising and unfair trade under the Lanham Act.
