GE, Philips, Others Sued Over Fluorescent Light Patent

Law360, New York (September 02, 2010, 3:29 PM ET) -- A New England inventor has accused General Electric Co., Koninklijke Philips Electronics NV, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and others of making, importing and selling light bulbs that infringe a patent covering fluorescent light circuitry.

Plaintiff Michael Moisin and his company, Brookline, Mass.-based Tele-Cons Inc., lodged a complaint Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas alleging direct and contributory infringement by the companies, as well inducement of infringement through sale of the products.
