Fed. Circ. Shuts Door On LG Claims In Wi-Fi Patent Suit

Law360, New York (November 02, 2010, 3:56 PM ET) -- LG Electronics Inc. has failed to convince a federal appeals court to review its decision to uphold the dismissal of infringement claims in a test case alleging hundreds of Netgear Inc. wireless products violated patents for wireless data transmission technology.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit denied LG's petition for a rehearing on Monday, letting stand its Sept. 20 order affirming a lower court's decision to grant Netgear summary judgment of noninfringement on a patent asserted by LG.
