Gibbons Lures IP Attorneys From Megafirms

Law360, New York (April 16, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Gibbons P.C. has snagged seven new intellectual property attorneys, in a move the firm says highlights the emerging trend of lawyers leaving megafirms in search of more fertile opportunities at smaller competitors.

In the last week, the 220-attorney firm has lured IP partners from 1,000-plus-attorney firms Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, Greenberg Traurig LLP and Reed Smith LLP. Gibbons’ IP practice now has 45 lawyers.
