Law360, New York (March 22, 2011, 6:03 PM ET) -- Garmin Ltd. filed a patent infringement suit against Taiwan-based Bryton Inc. in a Kansas federal court Monday, claiming that Bryton devices designed for cycling enthusiasts infringe design and utility patents held by Garmin.
The complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas claims that Bryton products, including the Rider 30 cycling computer and the Rider 50 cycling computer, are strikingly similar to Garmin’s Edge-brand GPS-enabled cycling computers.
