Law360, New York (April 11, 2011, 8:16 PM ET) -- Luxury accessories maker Coach Inc. hit Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores with a trademark infringement suit Monday in Illinois, saying merchandise sold by the company infringes its Signature C logo and is likely to confuse consumers.
The pattern of elongated Os found on the Blizzard Fleece fabric sold by Jo-Ann Fabric both on its website and in its stores bears more than coincidental resemblance to Coach's distinctive pattern of Cs, according to a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois....
