Law360, New York (April 18, 2011, 6:16 PM ET) -- The copyright owner and distributor of artist Thomas Kinkade's paintings won a temporary restraining order in Minnesota on Monday preventing art reseller LaPoint Enterprises Inc. from selling Kinkade prints to Sam's Club and other retailers.
U.S. District Judge Donovan W. Frank restrained LaPoint from buying or selling any copies of Kinkade's work and ordered it to turn over a list of all his works in its possession.
