Law360, New York (April 22, 2011, 6:23 PM ET) -- Sports gear manufacturer Point 3 Basketball Inc. sued Nike Inc. on Thursday in New York for allegedly infringing its trademarked logo by putting a virtually identical design on its new Dwyane Wade-endorsed Air Jordan sneakers.
The basketball athletic apparel company targeted Nike's decision to use a highly similar stylized number three on its upcoming Dwyane Wade shoe, which is set to go on sale in early May.
