Law360, New York (April 26, 2011, 8:25 PM ET) -- Oil giant BP America Inc. on Tuesday settled a suit it filed in Missouri against an AstraZeneca PLC subsidiary over who should cover the cost of litigation arising from a now-defunct BP unit's deal to sell seed-related intellectual property.
The case — filed by BP over a 21-year-old deal to sell IP to a company that became an AstraZeneca Holdings BV subsidiary — is over, U.S. District Judge Judge E. Richard Webber said in an order closing the two-old action.
