Law360, New York (May 06, 2011, 3:43 PM ET) -- Despite recent litigation setbacks, Righthaven LLC launched an offensive against six websites Thursday in Nevada federal court, accusing them of copyright infringement for reprinting articles from the Las Vegas Review-Journal without permission.
Righthaven, a copyright holding company, is seeking $150,000 from the operators and founders of the websites Newsblaze LLC, Law Med Blog, Extreme DUI, Affordable Hunting Trips, Subliminalselfhypnosis.com and Florida Steaks, according to the complaints.
