Law360, New York (June 22, 2011, 8:36 PM ET) -- Medical device company Braun Medical Inc. sued Hospira Inc. on Wednesday in Illinois, claiming it infringed a patent covering infusion management products and interfered with Braun's contract to buy the patent.
Braun claims that several of Hospira's so-called infusion management systems infringe its newly purchased U.S. Patent 7,933,780, titled “Method and apparatus for controlling an infusion pump or the like.”
