Facebook Wants Winklevoss Suit In Mass. Tossed

Law360, New York (July 07, 2011, 8:15 PM ET) -- Facebook Inc. on Thursday asked a Massachusetts federal judge to toss an intellectual property lawsuit brought by the founders of ConnectU Inc. after they decided to drop their fight over a reported $65 million settlement with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

Facebook had previously filed two motions to dismiss the suit, in which which Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss and Divya Narendra accuse Zuckerberg of stealing the basic idea for Facebook as well as proprietary code from ConnectU. The motions were put on hold while a suit in...
