Appeal Claims “Serious Errors” In ITC Toyota Ruling

Law360, New York (June 01, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Engine maker Solomon Technologies Inc. is planning to appeal a federal trade agency's ruling that Toyota Motor Corp. did not infringe a patent for hybrid vehicle technology.

Solomon announced Friday that it will take its case to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit after the U.S. International Trade Commission on April 30 concurred with an administrative law judge's finding of no violation by Toyota and its affiliates.
