Law360, New York (July 26, 2011, 8:45 PM ET) -- Righthaven LLC, a perennial filer of copyright lawsuits against bloggers and websites that reprint newspaper articles, argued Tuesday that its suit against the Pahrump Life blog in Nevada federal court was not fraudulent.
In a reply to an amicus brief filed by Democratic Underground LLC — a political site formerly targeted by Righthaven — copyright expert Jason Schultz and the Citizens Against Litigation Abuse Inc., Righthaven said their accusations “have no place in zealous, but tempered, advocacy.”
