Asus, Westinghouse Sued Over LCD Patents

Law360, New York (August 26, 2011, 5:17 PM ET) -- Technology Licensing Corp. slapped Westinghouse Digital LLC and Asus Computer International with a suit Thursday in Illinois, accusing the electronics manufacturers of infringing three patents related to liquid crystal display technology.

The complaint claims Westinghouse and Asus have infringed patents for a method to enhance the image resolution of television and computer monitors. It asserts U.S. Patent Numbers 6,870,964; 7,382,929; and 7,986,851.
