Law360, New York (August 30, 2011, 12:47 PM ET) -- A photographer slapped Goldman Sachs & Co. with a copyright infringement lawsuit Thursday in New York federal court, claiming the financial firm continued to use his image past the expiration of its license through Getty Images Inc.
Plaintiff Peter Ginter says Goldman licensed the image, "Inside the Tunnel of the Main Injector," for use on its website, advertising the firm's report "The New Geography of Global Innovation." Goldman paid $396.50 to use the image for six months, he says.
