ITC Backs HP In Probe Over Ink-Jet Patents

Law360, New York (September 08, 2011, 4:01 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission announced Thursday that it would not review an administrative law judge's initial ruling that four Chinese companies infringed a pair of Hewlett-Packard Co. patents through the importation of certain ink-jet printer cartridges.

Administrative Law Judge Theodore R. Essex issued an initial determination Aug. 3 finding that a domestic industry exists for the asserted products and that Shanghai Angel Printer Supplies Co.
