Law360, New York (September 14, 2011, 9:32 PM ET) -- ActiveVideo Networks Inc. urged a Virginia federal judge on Wednesday to reject Verizon Communications Inc.’s efforts to reverse a jury’s $115 million verdict against the telecom giant for infringing ActiveVideo’s on-demand video patents.
In oppositions filed Wednesday, the video technology maker told U.S. District Judge Raymond A. Jackson that Verizon’s arguments in post-trial motions for a new trial and for a judgment as a matter of a new trial were unsupported by the record.
