Law360, New York (January 07, 2005, 12:00 AM ET) -- Jeff McKinney has left Burns Doane Swecker & Mathis in Redwood Shores to become special counsel in the intellectual property group at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP in San Francisco.

McKinney has “substantial” experience from both law firms and the corporate world in the creation, implementation and enforcement of patent portfolios, according to Sheppard, Mullin.
