Law360, San Diego (November 01, 2011, 6:59 PM ET) -- Public utility Hydro-Quebec and the University of Texas said Monday they had resolved their suits claiming battery maker A123 Systems Inc. had infringed patents covering lithium metal phosphate battery technology.
Plaintiffs Hydro-Quebec and the Board of Regents of the University of Texas System and defendant A123 said they had entered into a settlement agreement and a related patent sublicense deal that would end their Texas federal court claims against each other.
