Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault To Disband; Rival Firms Begin Scooping Up IP Talent

Law360, New York (January 17, 2005, 12:00 AM ET) -- Boston high-tech law firm Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault LLP will shut down in March, sending almost 600 employees on a job hunt after a series of defections dealt a fatal blow to one of the city’s most prominent firms.

The firm said it decided to disband after merger discussions with a “number of suitors” over the past few weeks failed, and many partners ultimately decided that they preferred other opportunities.
