Law360, New York (December 02, 2011, 7:03 PM ET) -- The Federal Circuit on Friday overturned a lower court’s refusal to send technology company Marvell International Ltd.’s patent infringement suit against Link A Media Devices Corp. from Delaware to California, finding the district court had abused its discretion in denying the transfer.
In a precedential decision, the appeals court granted LAMD’s petition for writ of mandamus, vacating a Delaware federal judge’s denial of LAMD’s motion to transfer, sending the case to California.
