Yahoo, Xerox End Tiff Over Internet Search Patents

Law360, New York (December 16, 2011, 1:17 PM ET) -- Xerox Corp. and Yahoo Inc. agreed on Thursday to shut down their patent dispute, bringing an end to Xerox’s multiparty suit, which initially took aim at Yahoo, Google Inc., Google subsidiary YouTube and online advertising company Right Media Inc. over Internet search-related patents.

U.S. District Judge Leonard P. Stark signed the order dismissing all of Xerox’s claims against Yahoo, as well as the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Internet company’s counterclaims against the printing giant.
