Law360, New York (February 02, 2005, 12:00 AM ET) -- A legal team representing Cartier and other Swiss luxury brands has secured a record $594 million award in an anti-counterfeit trademark suit against an international network of counterfeiters.
U.S. District Court Judge Thomas Griesa of the Southern District of New York reached the default judgment awarding Cartier International $594 million against Chinatown counterfeiters, according to Greenberg Traurig LLP, which represented the plaintiffs.
