Law360, New York (January 20, 2012, 3:25 PM ET) -- Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. said Friday it was mulling an appeal of a German court ruling that Apple Inc. did not infringe one of the South Korean tech giant's patents at the center of the companies’ global battle over smartphone and tablet technology.
A judge in Mannheim ruled that Apple did not violate one of the mobile telecommunications patents Samsung is asserting in the case. Rulings on two other Samsung patents are expected on Jan. 27 and March 2.
