Law360, San Diego (January 27, 2012, 5:18 PM ET) -- A German court on Friday tossed Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.’s second patent claim against Apple Inc. over mobile telecommunications technology a week after the court rejected its claim over a related patent, according to a patent expert’s blog.
Judge Andreas Voss of the Mannheim Regional Court dismissed Samsung’s patent complaint against Apple related to the 3G wireless standard without giving any reasons for the ruling, according to a blog by Florian Mueller, a consultant who closely tracks intellectual property issues in the U.S. software industry....
