Rambus Inks Patent Licensing Deal With Nvidia

Law360, Los Angeles (February 08, 2012, 2:37 PM ET) -- Rambus Inc. announced Wednesday that it had struck a licensing deal with computer-chip maker Nvidia Corp., resolving a longstanding patent infringement dispute between the companies.

The licensing agreement allows Nvidia the right to use Rambus' patented technology in a “broad range” of integrated circuit products, according to a statement. Financial terms of the five-year deal were not made public. Additionally, Rambus said the two companies have settled all outstanding claims related to their years-old patent spat.
