AOS, Fairchild Consolidate MOSFET Patent Disputes

Law360, New York (July 31, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Inc. and its larger rival, Fairchild Semiconductor Corp., have received the green light to consolidate their patent infringement cases against one another over metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor, or MOSFET, products.

Judge Jeffrey S. White signed off on the joint motion to combine the two cases in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Tuesday.
