Law360, Los Angeles (February 22, 2012, 3:36 PM ET) -- Graphics Properties Holdings Inc., formerly known as Silicon Graphics Inc., filed six separate lawsuits in Delaware federal court on Tuesday accusing Panasonic Corp., Sharp Corp., Toshiba Corp. and others of infringing up to five patents for flat-panel electronics display technologies.
Tuesday’s wave of suits over technologies used in displays for televisions, tablet computers and other consumer electronics marked a muscular effort by GPH to enforce a portfolio of patents it took over in the wake of SGI’s 2009 bankruptcy.
