Law360, New York (February 24, 2012, 8:49 PM ET) -- A Texas federal jury has found that oil and gas servicer Weatherford International Inc. infringed a Halliburton Co. patent for drilling technology and awarded more than $35 million in damages and royalties, Halliburton attorneys said Friday.
Maria Boyce of Baker Botts LLP, an attorney for Halliburton Energy Services Inc., told Law360 that she was pleased with the jury's verdict, which was delivered Feb. 17 after almost two days of deliberation and an eight-day trial.
